The Lebanon City Police Department has received an increase in complaints for Thefts from Vehicles over the past week.

The incidents are not limited to a specific area and have been reported City wide.

Many of the Thefts involved items that are visible from the exterior of the vehicles, such as GPS units still affixed to the windshield, cell phones and purses.  Many of the Thefts are from vehicles which have been left unlocked.

Police are reminding residents and visitors to conceal items of value in their vehicles or remove them completely, and to lock their vehicles at all times when the vehicle is left unattended.

Police are also asking that residents report any suspicious persons or activity to the police as soon as it is observed.
