A very popular retired race horse is drawing attention in a big way.

“Metro Meteor” is a painting racehorse.

His owner says he gives Metro a paint brush and the horse “goes to town” on a canvas.

Metro’s paintings have sold more than $32,000, and half of that money goes to benefit the New Vocations Adoption Program at Penn National Race Course.

“He’s got a lot of fans, there are a lot of people that came out just to see Metro, we talked to a lady who drove up from Alabama just to see Metro, she follows him on Facebook and his website and she wanted to see him in person,” says Metro’s owner, Ron Krajewski.

People say Metro shines a new light on retired race horses.
