A Virginia truck driver faces two counts of Homicide by Vehicle in a double fatal crash last November on Route 222 in Lancaster County. 22 year old Mamuyrarassuna E. Y. Noviho, of Newport News, Virginia is also charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault by Vehicle.
Police charge that Noviho was driving too slow on a posted 65 mph stretch of Route 222 in Manheim Township. A vehicle carrying four people including 40 year old Joshua West slammed into the big rig, killing West and his 2 year old Joshua. It happened just 7 o’clock at the Landis Valley overpass. Katie West, the driver of the vehicle suffered serious injures. Another 4 year old child in the vehicle was also injured.
If convicted Noviho could face a maximum of 27 years in prison.
