– Do not trim trees before storm
– Pick up debris outside
– Bring in or tie down objects that could be thrown by the wind (lawn furniture, potted plants, grills, toys, garbage cans, etc.)
– Turn off propane gas valves
– Put smaller gas tanks in garage, not in home
– Unplug TV antennas and satellite dishes (store in garage)
– Cover or brace all windows with plywood panels and heavy bolts.
– Install a garage door bracing kit
