A local family took advantage of tonight’s big crowd in Lititz by selling bread.
My Brothers Bread is a charity run by the Forte’s to benefit their youngest son, Tony.
Tony is a 7 year old boy who’s been on a transplant list for three years.
He needs a stomach, liver, and intestines.
His oldest brother, Vinny, says it means the world to him to have people come by and donate their money.
“It’s a little humbling you know but we appreciate it a lot and we get a lot of repeat customers and people who have read about Tony and they’re more than happy to do that and we can’t thank them enough,” says Vinny Forte.
Tonight’s menu consisted of apple, pumpkin, cranberry, chocolate, and lemon bread.
Vinny says the most popular flavor is Blueberry.
