Lebanon City Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that failed to stop after hitting a young child riding a scooter. It happened at around 5:55 Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of 8th & Union Streets. Police say the 12 year boy was crossing the street on his scooter when he was struck. The child’s parent took him to the hospital where he was treated and released.
A witness followed the vehicle, described as a dark small to medium sized car, but lost it on Cornwall Road in the area of Norman Drive. Anyone who may witnessed the incident is asked to contact Lebanon City Police at (717) 272-6611.
