A fire that damaged a vacant house in Lancaster County Tuesday night is labeled suspicious.  The fire broke out just after 9 o’clock in the 1600 block of Stanley Avenue in West Hempfield Township.  The fire was quickly brought under control.  Damage was estimated at $100,000.. There were no injuries reported.  The owners were reportedly away on vacation.

The State Police Fire Marshal and local police are investigating the cause of the fire.  Several items in the house were removed and have been sent to the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
