At the corner of Spring Garden and North Street in Carlisle, Cumberland County, a car was found on fire along with a body inside of that car.
After speaking briefly with public information officer, emergency crews arrived on the scene at around 11 pm last night where they found a burning car. They were able to contain the flames within 10 minutes finding a body in the front seat of the car. The officer also told us that the body was so badly burned they can not confirm whether it was a male or female. Nearby neighbors said that they heard what they described it as a big explosion.
Other than the body that was recovered there are no other reported injuries.
