Police stop fleeing Harrisburg teens in stolen vehicle in Franklin County

A high speed chase in Franklin County ends with seven teenagers from Harrisburg taken into custody.  Just before 7 o’clock Wednesday evening State Police in Chambersburg were notified via Onstar of  a stolen vehicle from Harrisburg headed south on Interstate 81 at mile post 20 in Greene Township.

Troopers responded and attempted to stop the vehicle without success.  A police cruiser was struck by the vehicle while traveling in excess of 90 miles per hour.  Troopers again maneuvered to stop the vehicle and this time were successful.  The seven occupants were taken into custody without further incident.

One occupant, 18 year old Travon Scott, faces charges of Receiving Stolen Property and Fleeing as an adult.  The others, two 17 year old males, and four females, two age 16, and two age 15, face juvenile court.

    Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! Another fun day around here. Can't blame them for wanting to get out, but they are part of the problem.
