West Hempfield Township Police charge three people in connection with two armed robberies in Lancaster County.  The first robbery happened on May 20, 2013 at the Getty Mart along the 300 block of Highland Drive in Mountville.

A man armed with a knife walked into the store and demanded money.  However he ran away and got into a waiting vehicle without taking anything from the store. No one was injured.  Police identified 29-year-old Kevin Richard Ware, of Mountville, as the man with the knife.  They also identified 28-year-old Allison Ayn Moss, also of Mountville,  as the driver of the getaway vehicle a 2000 silver Hyundai Accent.  Both suspects face charges of Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

The second incident happened on June 4, 2013.  A man armed with a handgun held-up the Union Community Bank at 10 South 18th Street in Columbia. He handed a teller a note demanding money. The suspect got away with some cash. A 2000 silver, Hyundai Accent sedan was also seen in the area.

Investigators say the robbery suspect was Kevin Ware.  They also identified two other suspects who were accomplices, Allison Moss and 31-year-old Rachel Lee Burk.  All three confessed to their roles in the robberies. They also told investigators the money was used for fuel and drugs.  All three face charges of Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

Following arraignment all three were sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of bail.
