The Cumberland County Coroner identifies the victim in Wednesday night’s car fire in Carlisle as 53 year old Nathan Musser of Carlisle. The coroner used dental records to determine Musser’s identity. An autopsy this morning at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center also revealed that Musser died as a result of smoke inhalation and burns. Authorities say there is no foul play suspected.
The Cumberland County Coroner’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Carlisle Police, the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal, and the Cumberland County Forensic Unit.
