Two men were arrested late Friday night after a motorcyclist was robbed at knifepoint in the parking lot of a hotel in Dauphin County.

It happened just before midnight at the Holiday Inn located along the 600 block of Station Road in East Hanover Township. The victim, a 19-year-old Harrisburg man,  told police he had just pulled into the parking lot on his motorcycle when he was approached by two men, identified as Joshua Dale Walker, 25, of Jonestown and Dustin Leigh Miller, 27, of Pine Grove.

The trio began talking about motorcycles when all of a sudden Walker pulled out a knife and held it to the victim’s throat, state police said.

Walker demanded the keys to the victim’s motorcycle.

Troopers say the victim told the men he would get money out of the ATM in exchange for being allowed to keep his  keys.

The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to Walker and the pair fled the scene.

Miller was arrested when he returned to the Holiday Inn. Walker was taken into custody at his home in Jonestown.

Walker is charged with robbery, theft by unlawful taking, attempted robbery of a motor vehicle, simple assault, false imprisonment terroristic threats and possession of a controlled substance.

Miller is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking.

Did anyone think to ask what a 19 year old kid from Harrisburg is doing in a hotel parking lot after midnight? Considering one of the suspects was found with heroin in his possession when he was arrested, I'm thinking this was a drug deal gone bad.

Seriously? Way to blame a victim.
