The AMVets Ladies packed special boxes for our military men and women serving overseas in Carlisle today. The volunteer group stuffed care packages full of all sorts of goodies that the troops don’t get to enjoy while they are away from home. The boxes included everything from crackers to pretzels to cereal to Girl Scout cookies! The AMVets Ladies group has been assisting current military members, veterans, their families, and the community for over 50 years.
Funding is low this year and they still have over 500 boxes that need to be filled.
