He delivered when the heat was on last year for Penn State’s basketball team. Now former Red Land and Nittany Lions standout Jermaine Marshall will deal with the desert heat as a member of the Arizona State Sun Devils. After the Nittany Lions season, Marshall announced he was leaving the program to pursue a professional career. He changed his mind last month and decided to explore transfer options and graduate school. As a grad student, Marshall is eligible to play right away for Arizona State.
Marshall averaged 15.3 point per game for Penn State. He was an honorable mention All-Big Ten performer who led Penn State in scoring 14 times during the season.
