People at Fort Hunter Park in Dauphin County cooled off from today’s heat with an ice cold beer.
Folks has the chance to sample beet from 18 local brewing companies.
For some brewers, it was the very first time their beer was sampled.
And with today’s warm temperatures, people say it’s the perfect time to expand their palette.
This was the second annual brewfest for Dauphin County.
Organizers say it’s always a treat when people can test a new beer.
“I really like the fact that we’re helping to support regional and local brewing companies. I like the fact we’re helping to support regional and local vendors as well as the fact that it’s a very diverse population here in Dauphin County that’s coming to this event,” says Assistant Program Director, Michelle Hornberger.
Dauphin county made sure to play it safe.
Designated drivers were offered a discounted entrance fee.
