MORE DRY AIR:  Drier air settled in yesterday and is here for another day.  The low humidity air has made for a fall like start to the morning hours on this Thursday.  We’ll warm up only to the middle and upper 70s today with low humidity yet again.  It’s a fall like day for sure.  Intervals of clouds may block the sun at times as a system develops off the coast.  We’re mild and dry though.  Tonight, it’s cool again with generally clear skies and lows nearing 60°.

Friday, expect more sunshine but we begin to warm and return some humidity to the picture.  Altogether it’ll be a more seasonal day across the area with highs in the low to mid 80s.  Enjoy!

WEEKEND:  We’re watching an upper level low slowly drifting across the Great Lakes Saturday into Monday.  This will spiral some energy around it Saturday and move closer to us on Sunday.  So, we’ll likely be tweaking the forecast through the weekend, but here’s how it looks for now.

Saturday, we’ll begin to cloud up a bit as humidity returns.  Highs should hit the low 80s for most, but scattered showers and storms may fire through the afternoon hours into the evening.  Rain will linger sporadically overnight into Sunday.  Scattered storms may be more numerous on Sunday, with heavy downpours possible in spots.  Highs will be held in the upper 70s to low 80s.  Rain should taper overnight, clearing by Monday morning.

NEXT WEEK:  Direr air slides in behind the low and we’ll be mainly clear, with lower humidity and temps in the middle 80s.  We’ll see a few more clouds back for Tuesday with highs in the middle 80s.  Wednesday, we could see the return to unsettled weather with showers and storms possible as we hit the middle 80s.

DORIAN:  We’re watching a compact tropical system in the Atlantic, born Wednesday and churning as the named storm Dorian today.  This system will take the weekend to move into the Western Atlantic.  We’ll be monitoring it next week to see if it will have any impact on the U.S. coastline.  Stay tuned.

It’s Friday Eve!  Hope you have a wonderful day!
