The Penbrook Borough Police Department will conduct aggressive driving enforcement on Monday, July 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of a Special Aggressive Driving Enforcement Project funded by part of PennDOT’s statewide investment of federal funds.
Penbrook is one of nine municipal police departments in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster and York counties that were awarded special grants to address local aggressive driving concerns. This mobilization effort began May 15 and will run until Sept. 30 on segments of roadways where municipal police have identified aggressive driving is a major traffic safety issue.
The enforcement will complement another statewide aggressive driving enforcement mobilization, also funded by federal funds through PennDOT, which continues through Aug. 15.
