MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Hop on and hit the gas, that’s what visitors at the Harley-Davidson Museum are encouraged to do in the Experience Gallery.

“I really like the bling Harley, the one with all of the sparkles on it,” says Harley-Davidson Museum visitor Ruth Hoffman.

But the Experience Gallery has some new upgrades just in time for the 110th anniversary celebration.

Now when you’re on a bike, you no longer have to find someone to take your picture.

“There are screens there with cameras that allow people to stand around the motorcycle, set a timer, and actually get their picture taken,” says Harley-Davidson Community Affairs Manager Brook Smith.

You can e-mail that picture to yourself or upload it right to Facebook.

James and Ruth Hoffman are visiting the Harley-Davidson Museum from New York and they can’t wait to show the family what they were up to in Milwaukee.

“I think our grand-kids are going to like it when we send the pictures back of grandma and grandpa riding the Harley-Davidson,” says James Hoffman.

Touch screens that provide an electronic catalog of Harley-Davidson bikes were also added to the exhibit.

“A way for people who may not know that much about the bikes, they can get more information or just have fun customizing their own,” says Smith.

Harley-Davidson Museum visitor Jason Senour had a great time designing his dream bike.

“I love the color green so it’s got a lot of green. I would rather have relaxed laid back riding so I had long handlebars so I can lay back while riding,” says Senour.

Bringing former, current, and potential riders together to enjoy this iconic motorcycle.

Both vintage and current models are on display in the Experience Gallery.

The 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycles will replace the 2013 bikes in the exhibit before the week of the 110th anniversary celebration.
