President Obama to visit Lackawanna College in Scranton on Friday

President Barack Obama’s two-day bus tour will be making a stop on Friday at Lackawanna College in Scranton, according to a posting on the college’s website.

He is expected to lay out his plan for reducing college costs.

The president will  visit Buffalo, Syracuse and Binghamton in New York before coming to Pennsylvania.

Lackawanna College President Mark Volk said in a statement, “As we begin a new year at Lackawanna College, we can think of no better visitor than the President of the United States. This will be a very busy and very happy start to the new school year.”

The last time President Obama visited northeastern Pennsylvania was during the 2012 campaign when he spoke at Scranton High School.
