One person is dead following a violent collision involving two vehicles in York County. The victim is identified as 45 year old Donald Gross, of Manchester. Pennsylvania State Police say Gross was southbound on Old York Road just south of Fickes Road, at about 1:52 Monday afternoon, when his vehicle cross the centerline and a southbound vehicle virtually head on.
Gross was pronounced dead at the scene by the York County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the second vehicle, 23 year old Larissa Mealey of York, was taken to Holy Spirit Hospital with minor injuries.
State Police say their investigation into the collision continues.
