Speed may have been a factor in a fatal crash in Dauphin County early Saturday morning, police said.
It happened around 1:25 a.m. along the 500 block of Harman Road in Jackson Township.
State police say 20-year-old Daniel James Confer Jr., of Millersburg, was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the road and into a field.
Confer was ejected and partially pinned underneath the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
