For years, neighbors and business owners in Harrisburg have lived in a capital city that’s been fighting for its reputation. The reputation is a result of crippling debt. But as city leaders move forward on their recovery plan, we can expect to see more positivity in and around Harrisburg.
Under the “Harrisburg Strong Plan” filed Monday by the office of the state-appointed receiver, Harrisburg would be relieved of its $360 million incinerator debt.
It’s now up to the Commonwealth Court to rule on the plan.
