TRICKY, TRICKY: The upper level pattern is favorable for surprises and poor timing on shots of rain through Wednesday. This equates to a shaky forecast for the next few days. What we can tell you is that it will be very warm and stuffy. The sun will work in and out with partly to mostly cloudy skies. As mentioned, rain chances are tough to pick out but this is our best shot on timing as of this morning. Today, it looks mainly dry with the chance for rain ramping up around the afternoon commute or into the evening. We may see a shot overnight. No guarantee for rain here. The tomorrow, we could see the next batch roll through during the day. Models are hinting this cluster may skip to our west. Be ready for rain nonetheless.
LATE WEEK: The pattern begins to change ever so slightly. This should be enough to shut off the rain chances, but we’re still pretty warm and stuffy. Skies may clear a bit to close out the week.
LABOR DAY WEEKEND: We’re watching a larger wave that looks to set up shop toward the end of the three day weekend. It looks like we’re warm and humid for the long weekend. Saturday looks dry for now, but the chance for rain begins Sunday with the best shot Monday as a cold front rolls through. It’s still a few days out, so we’ll have to tweak the timing. The weekend shouldn’t be a loss though.
Here’s to a terrific Tuesday!
