Thousands of people are heading to Washington D.C. today, to remember a pivotal date in history. 50 years ago today, Doctor Martin Luther King Junior delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech.
President Obama, Clinton, and Carter, and the daughters of JFK and LBJ will be speaking at the National Mall at the memorial of the 16th president–Abraham Lincoln, who freed the slaves.
Those with tickets can sit up close. Those without can stand at the World War Two Memorial, or along the Reflecting Pool.
