Clouds are finally breaking up allowing for some sunshine before it sets. That is boosting our temps quickly into the low to mid 80s.
Skies will be clear for a few hours tonight but that means the redevelopment of low level clouds and fog for tomorrow morning. Lows will be a tad cooler in the mid 60s but still above average.
High pressure keeps things dry for us tomorrow but it moves off the coast creating a southeasterly flow which will keep the clouds around mixing with sunshine throughout the day. We continue humid and warm with highs in the low to mid 80s.
HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL!!!
HUMID, WARM & STORMY
Over the weekend, it becomes unsettled. First frontal system rotates in bringing an isolated chance for a shower or thunderstorm. Most of the day will be rain free but can’t rule out something popping up especially in the afternoon and early evening. Highs will be warm in the mid to upper 80s.
Showers and storms will be more widespread on Sunday but again hit or miss but with a lot of moisture in the atmosphere, any storm that develops will have the potential to produce heavy rainfall.
A stronger cold front arrives for Monday bringing showers and storms for the holiday but it will be followed by come drier, cooler air for several days next week. Highs on Monday will be in the low to mid 80s and it will be quite humid.
Tuesday into Thursday we’ll see abundant sunshine, Couple of cool mornings with lows dipping into the 50s. Beautiful afternoon’s with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Certainly a nice couple of days to enjoy as we head into early September.
