The Kipona Celebration event – a.l.aThe Kipona Wine, Art and Blues Festival – features a variety of food, children’s theatres, educational activities, a juried fine art and craft festival, boat races, sporting events, concerts, and other family activities including Keystone Regional Chili Cook-off, Native American Pow-Wow, “Breath of Nature” Karate Tournament and Bassmasters Fishing Tournament.
New in 2013 is the Wine Village, New Jersey Outlaws Motor Boat Racing and Harrisburg Healthy Café.
The Kipona Festival is one of the oldest waterfront festivals in the United States and features the largest fireworks display in Pennsylvania over Labor Day weekend.
