COLD FRONT: These are two words you don’t want to hear on a holiday, especially in the summer! But, on a good note, this one won’t bring an all day rain. Do expect some showers and storms early and then scattered showers and storms in the afternoon. Some of the daytime storms may produce some juicy downpours and some gusty winds. However, you can expect an hour or two of rain today and the party cloudy, muggy, warm air otherwise. Highs hit the middle to upper 80s today. Storms end overnight with lows in the upper 60s
DRIER & COOLER: The front clears through the day and cooler and drier air spills in behind it for the shortened work week. Expect partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70s on Tuesday with a northwesterly breeze. Wednesday, the sun is abundant and highs are near 80°. Thursday, we warm to the low 80s with low humidity. A dry cold front will slide through late, reinforcing the sunshine and dry, comfy weather for Friday with highs in the upper 70s again.
WEEKEND: Saturday looks seasonably mild and dry for now with mostly sunny skies and humidity holding in check. Sunday will be a bit warmer and the humidity slips up a notch. A cold front will approach, bringing the chance for showers and storms back to the picture.
