GEA Refrigeration North American, Inc, is increasing production capacity at its York County facility, adding at least 30 new jobs and retaining 247 employees. The plant is located in the 3400 block of Broad Road in Manchester Township.
Governor Tom Corbett’s office made the announcement today. The Governor says Pennsylvania has created more than 130,000 private sector jobs since January 2011, the unemployment rate in the Commonwealth is the lowest it has been since the recession, and the number of people working, at just over 6 million, is at its highest since April 2008.
According to a release from the Governor’s office, Pennsylvania has added back over 70 percent of the jobs lost during the recession, with the majority of that gain occurring during the Corbett administration.
