FALL AIR VISITS
Cool, Canadian high pressure has settled over the region, bringing a chilly start across the Lower Susquehanna River Valley. The chilly start is a sign of things to come for Friday. It remains cool with sunshine. It’s a taste of fall weather, with highs reaching the upper 60s to lower 70s! Overnight Friday, temperatures fall once again into the lower 50s, with some locations dipping into the 40s once more.
High pressure remains in control of our weather through Saturday, keeping the sunshine across the Lower Susquehanna River Valley. Highs warm into the middle to upper 70s, but this is still below seasonable averages. A cold front slips through again on Sunday, but this one should also pass through dry. Just expect extra clouds, with highs near the 80 degree mark.
NEXT RAIN CHANCE
Behind Sunday’s cold front, we feel a brief cool down for Monday with plenty of sunshine. Highs reach the middle 70s. Then we warm again as a southerly flow develops Tuesday into Wednesday. There’s a small chance for a few showers and thunderstorms Tuesday, and a better chance Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures begin near 80 degrees on Tuesday, and reach the lower to middle 80s by Wednesday and Thursday.
Have a great Friday!
