Two women entered a bank in Lancaster yesterday wearing masks and surgical gloves, one carrying a handgun, and the other had a handgun in her waistband. It happened at 10:21am at the Northwest Savings Bank, 922 Columbia Avenue. The women loitered in the lobby for a few minutes before walking toward the vault area.  They left the bank after one of the tellers attempted to engage the women in conversation.

Police responded to the call at the bank and checked the surrounding area for the suspects. The suspects were located walking in the 300 block of West Orange Street. Bank employees positively identified the suspects and were taken into custody.  A bag that one of the suspects was carrying contained two pellet pistols. The suspects were identified as Yomaira Correa, 22, and Alice Purdue-Davis, 32. both residents of an apartment in the 200 block of West Walnut Street in Lancaster.  They were interviewed by detectives and subsequently charged with Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy before Magisterial District Justice Richard Simms. They are currently being held for arraignment.
