ANOTHER DOSE OF FALL AIR
A cold front approaching the Lower Susquehanna Valley will bring a return to cooler fall air soon enough. In the meantime, it increases clouds through the overnight period. A sprinkle is possible close to daybreak, otherwise it’s a calm night. Lows fall into the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. During the early morning on Sunday, a few showers or sprinkles are possible as the front crosses. Then, clouds decrease into the afternoon hours. The cooler air lags a bit, so we won’t feel it Sunday afternoon. Highs reach the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. The cooler air arrives Monday, with highs reaching the lower to middle 70s. Expect plenty of sunshine to start the new workweek.
WARMING WITH NEXT RAIN CHANCE
A strong south/southwesterly flow develops by the middle of the week, and this helps warm temperatures well above average beginning on Tuesday. Highs reach the lower to middle 80s. A shower and thunderstorm chance enter the picture Wednesday, but not everyone gets wet. Highs are even warmer, in the middle to upper 80s. Thursday, a potent cold front looks to break the warmth. It also brings scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region. Temperatures fall back into the lower 80s.
The sunshine returns Friday, with a return to the fall feel. High temperatures stay in the middle to upper 70s on Friday. A few extra clouds enter the picture Saturday, but there is still plenty of sunshine. It’s even cooler, with highs in the lower to middle 70s.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend !
