Police are investigating a robbery at a convenience store in Lower Paxton Township early Saturday morning. Officers were dispatched to the Sunoco A-Plus store located along the 100 block of North Mountain Road just before 3 a.m. for a report of a robbery.

According to police reports, the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money after a brief struggle with a store employee.

The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot toward Allentown Boulevard.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery–but the clerk told police the suspect kept his hand in a pocket as if he had a gun.

The clerk was injured in the struggle but declined medical treatment. Police believe this robbery may be associated with other robberies in the suburbs of Harrisburg during the last two months.

Investigators say this robbery is very similar to the robbery Hess Express at 5390 Allentown Boulevard in Lower Paxton on Aug. 15.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white dust mask, sunglasses and a light colored zip-up hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 717-657-5656.
