7 injured in York County crash

A total of 7 people suffer injuries in a crash involving a mini-van and two cars in Spring Garden Township, York County.  It happened just before 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon along the 200 block of South Belmont Street.

The mini-van traveling in the wrong direction slammed into a car with two people.  That car was in turned rear ended by another car behind it.  5 people in the van and the two people in the first car suffered minor injuries.  The driver of the second car was uninjured.  Spring Garden Township Police are investigating

    What the story seems to omit is that the minivan was on one of the intersecting streets that are one-way because South Belmont is two-way. If one is going the wrong way down a one-way street, there would be no stop sign at any intersections. Of course, in that neighborhood you should see all the vehicles on both sides of the street are parked in the opposing direction and then you'd have a damn clue.
