THE HEAT IS ON:  The advertised bubble of hot, muggy, stifling summer air is here today and won’t leave us until Thursday night.  Expect clouds to slowly fade today as the sun beats down on us to bring us to the upper 80s to near 90° with plenty of high humidity.  Tonight, we drop to near 70° with fog.  Wednesday, we’re partly cloudy with the heat kicking up to around 90°.  A few storms may bubble in the afternoon heat.  Finally, Thursday we’re in the middle to upper 80s.  A cold front will slice through as we move toward Friday.  This will fire showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening on Thursday.

Summer is back!

BACK TO FALL:  Just like that, the cold front will end the three day stretch of summer weather.  Friday, skies will gradually give way to sunshine by the afternoon.  A stray shower is possible early with the cooler and drier air rushing into the state.  Highs will be in the low 70s with a breeze.

The fall air continues on Saturday with an upper 40s start and an upper 60s finish with plenty of sunshine and low humidity air.  Sunday will be a chilly start again and a mild finish in the low to middle 70s.  Monday is slightly warmer on both accords but we look to remain dry again.

Here’s to a terrific Tuesday!
