Lower Allen Township Police expect to have an arrest warrant for a Dauphin County man wanted for retail theft. Police say 41 year old Alfred Carrera, of Hummelstown, was seen loading a hand basket with numerous items of frozen seafood and leaving the Weis Market on Lowther Road without paying. The value of the stolen items are estimated at $500.
The seafood department manager followed Carrea into the store parking lot and write down a vehicle registration number. The vehicle was a Dodge Intrepid, with PA registration JGB-9191. Carrea fled in the car at a high rate of speed. Police released a surveillance photo of Carrera.
Middletown Borough Police also have an active warrant for Carrera in a robbery investigation where a firearm was displayed. Carrera remains at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on Carrera’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
