Visitors attending Harley-Davidson York Vehicle Operations’ annual Open House will have an opportunity to see how RUSHMORE, the revolutionary model year 2014 platform of touring motorcycles, are made. Visitors with a valid motorcycle can also take a demo ride. The York Open House at 1425 Eden Rd. is Thursday, Sept. 19, through Saturday, September 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free event will feature a number of activities, including:

Self-guided tours of the expanded and modernized factory where Harley-Davidson Softail®, Touring, CVO™ and Trike motorcycles are assembled. Selfguided tours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Demo rides (valid motorcycle license required) featuring the new 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Demo rides are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Musical entertainment by a DJ on Thursday and live bands Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon. Friday’s bands are The Rhythm Junkies and Small Town Titans. Saturday’s lineup includes Bullet Method and Great Train Robbery.

A five-dealer shopping area, featuring merchandise from Appalachian Harley-
Davidson, Lancaster Harley-Davidson, Laugerman’s Harley-Davidson,
Susquehanna Harley-Davidson, and White’s Harley-Davidson.

On Friday night, Harley-Davidson will again be the presenting sponsor of Bike Night in
Downtown York. A motorcycle parade will kick-off events from the York Fair Grounds
