An accused child molester who rammed his way out of a police blockade in a rental car in Maryland is in custody after law enforcement tracked him to a Lebanon County motel. Foster William Dove III, 38, of Essex, Maryland, destroyed his rental car and two police cruisers when he smashed his way through a roadblock set by Baltimore County Police on September 12th. They were attempting to arrest Dove on numerous charges of Child Molestation and Child Pornography.
Baltimore County Police reached out to Pennsylvania State Police. They interviewed Dove’s mother in Berks County and searched the home with no results. Then police found out Dove had used his credit card to buy 9mm ammunition and camping gear in Lebanon. They eventually tracked Dove to the Relax Inn in Cornwall Township, Lebanon County. The motel was locked down and the owners confirmed Dove was in Room #103 of the motel. Dove opened the door when troopers knocked on it, but when he saw the officers he tried to slam it shut. A State Police Trooper tased Dove and took him into custody.
Dove was housed in the Lebanon County Prison to await extradition back to Baltimore County. Upon his return he will be charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault on Police Officer for ramming the occupied vehicles on September 12th.
