One person has been shot after police attempted to serve two warrants in Hanover, York County.
State Police say a trooper entered an apartment on the 300 block of East Middle Street when a third person showed up.
FOX43 arrived on scene just after a woman was out into the back of a police car in handcuffs.
Neighbors say the apartment at 312 E. Middle has had police activity many times before.
People who live and work here have seen cops patrolling heavily by car and bike just in the last 24 hours.
“I could hear the sirens and the people shuffling around and screetchy tires so I knew something was going on. I usually see that from the shop,” says Simone Hostetter
Trooper Robert Hicks says another trooper was trying to serve two arrest warrants at 4:45 this afternoon when a third party entered.
That third person was shot after police say he didn’t obey commands.
Neighbors say the body looked “lifeless” as first responders brought the person to the ambulance.
“The actor was lifted to York Hospital the involved officer sustained minor to moderate injuries,” says Trooper Hicks.
Next door neighbors to the home told FOX43 they say the officer walk out of the home with blood all over his hands, but he seemed ok.
