Marietta man faces multiple counts of Child Sexual Assault

A Lancaster County man faces multiple charges of sexual assault involving a 13 year old girl.  Susquehanna Regional Police filed charges after investigating a report that 29 year old Ryan McNamara, of Marietta Borough, had inappropriate contact with the juvenile.  He also allegedly took inappropriate photographs of the young girl and  showing her  pornography.  An investigation revealed the inappropriate contact began in January 2012 and continued through August 9, 2013.

A forensic analysis of McNamara’s cell phone uncovered over 30,000 nude images, some of the victim, as well as other females.  The majority of the images were from pornographic sites.

McNamara, accompanied by his attorney, turned himself in and was arraigned on September 20 on the charges,  Those charges include multiple counts of Statutory Sexual Assault, Sexual Abuse of Children, Corruption of Minors, Unlawful Contact with Minor, Indecent Assault, Indecent Exposure, Aggravated Indecent Assault and Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse.

Police say at this time, there are no other known victims in the case.
