The Pittsburgh Steelers have another rough day when they come up short against the previously winless Minnesota Vikings.
For the first time in 45 years, the Steelers start a season at 0 and 4 after their 34-27 loss to the Vikings in London.
The shaky Pittsburgh defense gave up big play after big play in the loss. Adrian Peterson ran for two touchdowns, one of 60 yards, and Greg Jennings caught two scoring passes from backup Vikings quarterback Matt Cassel, one of 70 yards.
There was a positive sign. Rookie running back Le’Veon Bell, in his first NFL game, scored two touchdowns.
The Steelers have a bye next weekend. They are back on the field, Sunday October 13th at the New York Jets.
