According to a spokesperson with the Gettysburg National Military park, the Eisenhower site and the David Wills House would be closed if a Government shutdown occurs at 11:59 Monday night.

Many of the road on the Gettysburg Battlefield will be closed, with the exception of main throughways.  Although visitors would be permitted entry, there will be no park rangers to answer their questions.

Roughly 75 permanent full-time employees would be furloughed.

If the shutdown happens, the nations 401 national parks would be shut down, you won’t be able to apply for a passport and first time home buyers wouldn’t be able to apply for a mortgage.
