Harrisburg’s second Wild West artifacts auction is underway.
Guernsey’s Auction Company is running the two-day online event, October 8 and 9.
They are the same company that ran last summer’s week-long sale of nearly 8,000 artifacts.
Between the summer auction and two prior sales, the city of Harrisburg has pulled in about $3.7 million of the estimated $8.3 million spent on the items.
Harrisburg came to own the artifacts after former Mayor Stephen Reed purchased them for a now-abandoned Wild West Museum.
