SEASONAL COOL: High pressure has filled in across the state, making for a chilly start to the morning and a seasonably cool day. Expect a good deal of sunshine with a few clouds today. Highs hit the upper 60s. Tonight we’re back into the middle 40s. Wednesday will feature the same cool feel with clouds thickening from the south as we watch a coastal low develop. We look to stay dry through the daylight hours.
COASTAL LOW: A low pressure system develops along the coast and will ride northbound over the next few days. This will add some clouds today and Wednesday, but it looks like rain will roll in overnight Wednesday into Thursday, lingering into Friday. Expect intervals of rain with some steady rain for a few hours Thursday. This will keep us cloudy and cooler, holding temps in the upper 50s to near 60°. Friday the rain looks a bit spottier, but we’re still pretty cloudy and cool with temps in the low 60s.
WEEKEND: The low from late week looks as if it will start to spin and pull offshore a bit. This should effectively shut off most of the rain chances, but it will likely keep the clouds around for a chunk of the weekend. We’re holding steady in the upper 60s for both days. Not much changes for Monday, but another cold front will be working its way toward PA.
