A Georgia man is facing charges after he allegedly gropes a woman through a drive thru window in Lancaster County on Wednesday night.

East Lampeter Township Police say James R. Cowan Jr., 36, of Fitzgerald, Georgia ordered food at Arby’s, located at 2230 Lincoln Highway East.  When a female employee handed him his order through the window, Cowan allegedly reached in and groped the female before quickly driving off.

Police said employees reported that Cowan appeared to be intoxicated.

Police located his vehicle at Travel Lodge Motel down the road from Arby’s. Police then followed a trail of Arby’s curly fries and sauce from Cowan’s vehicle to his motel room.

Cowan was located Thursday at Your Place Bar and taken into custody.

Cowan was charged with indecent assault.

He was arraigned at Central Booking and released on a 10,000 unsecured bail.
