Online reality show focuses on lives of sports mascots

“Behind the Mask” is a new reality show set to debut exclusively on Hulu next week. The program goes in-depth with the people who bring mascots to life at sporting events across the country. FOX43 speaks to Chad Spencer, who plays “Tux the Penguin” for the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins, and Michael Hostetter, who is “Rooty the Cedar Tree” for Lebanon High School, about their involvement in the show and what it takes to be a mascot.
