ANOTHER FANTASTIC FALL DAY!

WebPhoto2

Some clouds that have been hanging around this afternoon will clear out during the evening hours.  This leads way to a mostly clear and cold overnight period.  The breezy winds finally calm down, and this allows temperatures to bottom out lower than this morning.  Readings fall into the lower to middle 30s.  Plenty of sunshine on Monday allows the temperatures to quickly rebound throughout the day.  Highs reach the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.  A weak cold front slides through during the afternoon and evening hours, but all it does is add some extra clouds.

WARMING THROUGH WEEK’S END

The cool air continues to slowly lift through the week, allowing warmer temperatures to enter the picture.  A warm front approaches Tuesday and increases clouds.  High are in the middle to upper 50s.  Wednesday remains mostly cloudy, with a shower or two possible as a warm front lifts north during the morning.  Thursday should be mainly dry, but there is still a chance for a few showers.  We’ll continue to keep an eye on this for the trick-or-treat forecast, but so far, it’s looking dry!  After the evening, however, an approaching cold front brings showers through the night.  This lasts through Friday morning, with skies clearing during the afternoon.  Temperatures rise above average into the lower to middle 60s Thursday and Friday!

COLD AIR RETURNING

A cooler air mass behind the cold front begins rushing into the region for the first weekend of November.  Temperatures fall back to seasonable averages Saturday under partly cloudy skies with the approach of the cooler air.  Sunday, the cool air mass is parked over the area for most of the day before beginning to lift out.  This means temperatures are back into the lower 50s with a mixture of clouds and sunshine.

Have a great week!
