A man has been arrested after police say he fired shots into a Lancaster City home on Saturday evening. Kyle Maleak Baldwin, 21, of Lancaster, is charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied residence, reckless endangerment and possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
Police responded to a report of several shots fired along the 500 block of East Strawberry Street. The suspect had fled the scene before police arrived.
Officers canvassed the area and spotted a group of three men walking along Green Street. Authorities say Baldwin matched the description of the suspect and was taken into custody.
Police found a stolen gun, drug paraphernalia, 106 grams of suspected crack cocaine and $2,500 in cash when they searched Baldwin’s home.
Baldwin was taken to Lancaster County Prison on lieu of $300,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov. 1.
