WARMING UP: We’ll begin to see a warm up over the next couple of days as our next rain maker heads toward the Commonwealth. Today, we begin with fog and low clouds with even a sprinkle or two possible especially toward the PA/MD border. Eventually we break for some sunshine later in the day. Highs hit the low 60s. Tonight we only drop to the upper 40s. It’s generally cloudy as well with some fog.
HALLOWEEN: Thursday looks to remain cloudy for the most part. It’s milder too with highs in the upper 60s! However, the warm front that advances through our area will bring the chance for a few showers early in the day. By evening, we’ll be watching rain to our west and north moving toward us. The bulk of the rain should hold off for early trick or treating, but the steady rain will begin falling around midnight. Just have some rain gear ready, but you likely won’t need it. Temps the in the evening will be in the low 60s. Enjoy and stay safe!
RAIN & MILD: So the rain begins overnight Thursday and lasts into Friday morning. We should be done with it by around midday Friday. Highs hit the 70° mark in many spots as some sunshine returns to the picture for later in the day. It’s breezy too!
WEEKEND: Slightly cooler air starts to make its way here for Saturday. We drop the temp by 10° on Saturday. Highs hit 60° under mostly cloudy skies. Sunday, the coldest of the air makes its way here with highs only in the middle 50s! We’ll see an increase in sunshine too.
NEXT WEEK: We start on a chilly, sunny and dry note with temps still in the low 50s for Monday. Tuesday, we warm just a bit and add some clouds with some rain possible by midweek.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS: Saturday night before bed, don’t forget to switch the clocks back one hour. We move to standard time at 2AM Sunday morning. This is also a good time to ensure you’re batteries are fresh in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
