The wrestling program at York College is placed on interim suspension from all activity due to violations of the Student Code of Conduct and the Student-Athlete Code of Conduct, including hazing. Officials also say an investigation by the Office of Campus Safety and administrators at the College of the wrestling program will continue.

The school says individual students who are believed to be in violation of the College’s Student Code of Conduct and Student-Athlete Code of Conduct will be scheduled for judicial board hearings in the near future.

The college declines to release names of any students who may be involved nor the exact nature of the alleged hazing.
