Winds will kick around out of the southwest to west at 15-25mph with some higher gusts in the 30-50mph range! It’s a mild day though, as the cold air doesn’t slip in until tomorrow. Temps make it to the low 70s today!
FOOTBALL: High school football looks mild tonight. It’s dry with partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Temps fall from the low 60s to the upper 50s. The breeze should relax as well.
Tailgating in Happy Valley tomorrow will be chilly, with temps in the upper 40s and increasing clouds. The game starts at noon and temps will rise into the low to middle 50s. It’s mostly cloudy. At any point in the day, a few light showers may make an appearance. Stay warm!
WEEKEND: Saturday is a generally cloudy day with temps only making it to near 60°. It’ll be breezy at times and some of us may see a quick sprinkle, especially to the north and west. It should be a generally dry day. Sunday, high pressure settles in with some really chilly air. Highs will struggle to touch 50°! The sun will be out and a breeze will add some more chill to the air.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS: Saturday night before bed, don’t forget to switch the clocks back one hour. We move to standard time at 2AM Sunday morning. This is also a good time to ensure you’re batteries are fresh in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
NEXT WEEK: We’re cool on Monday and sunny with highs near 50°. By Tuesday we warm to the low 50s and Wednesday we hit the 60s with partly cloudy skies. Wednesday night into Thursday, our next system moves in, bringing another shot at some rain.
Happy Friday and have a spectacular weekend!
